(I'm back!)

I'm back from a week of vacation time, which I spent at my parents' house with the unreliable computer that reboots without warning when I tried to play the game. I popped on for a few minutes each day to take care of RedGirl and tend my garden, but otherwise I was mostly hanging out with the family or playing Pokemon Pearl and not thinking about Vana'diel.

managed a few things during my week. I pulled off the ENM on that first Sunday, even though the computer kicked me off just before and right after Neyla popped the crate. I got the 3000xp, but I got stranded in the Maw because they teleported out instead of waiting for me. No biggie.

RedGirl reached adulthood and I rode her to Valkurm Dunes a couple times to try the "Hot and Cold" game, which is much harder in that zone, even with her Treasure Finder ability. I bumped into Twille's new character out there and helped farm a Magicked Skull for a friend he'd recently brought to the game.

I also sold off a lot of my lowbie Warrior gear and finally picked up my Strike Subligar. It looks tailor-made to match the Scorpion and Gaudy Harnesses and covers the legs so much better than the evil Republic Subligar.

Today's Limbus run was my first serious time back in the game. Quieren, who's slowly dropping out of Vana'diel in favor of World of Warcraft,, no longer wants his Ancient Beastcoins and is going to start donating them to the linkshell, which is how I got six at the end of the run today instead of three. I only need twelve more to get my Loquacious Earring.
