Storage Requirements

I still had half a stack of demon arrow ingredients by the time I capped out on the recipe at 69, so synthing the rest was tedious as hell. I'm glad I don't have to mess with those anymore, although selling them is going to be a pain in my taru ass.

didn't have much to do, and Neyla was off farming Beastmen Seals in the Boyahda Tree. On a whim, I rode the airship from Windurst to Jeuno to see if I could get the quest for my Beast Gloves; I'd upgraded my old ones and needed to get them again so I could put my Beastmaster armor in storage. Luck was on my side, and I rode out to the Crawler's Nest to get a coffer key.

I ran to the back room with the Knight Crawlers and Crawler Hunters. This was my first major test of the new Stay regen they gave to Beastmasters in the recent update. I took out several of the mobs with CourierCarrie, then returned to the mouth of the passage to let her regain her energy. It only took a few minutes for her to go from 20% health back to full. I don't doubt it's a lot faster with the merit ability that boosts pet food regen.

Two crawlers later, I had my coffer key. Finding the actual coffer was a hassle because the two areas are on opposite ends of the nest, but I eventually popped it and returned to Jeuno to get a fresh set of Beast Gloves. Back into NPC storage they go.

Demonic Endeavors

Sweet Altana, I'll be thankful when this current crafting binge is over. While Neyla was off farming snoll arms in Uleguerand Range, I was back in Carpenter's Landing to make more Arrowwood Lumber to make more Demon Arrows to make more Demon Quivers. Ugh.

I

I finally have my Carpenter's Apron.
managed to get my woodworking skill to 68.6 by synthing half of my ingredients. It's going to be psychologically hellish when I cap out at 69 and still have to do the rest of the stacks, but I'll manage.

On the positive side, I ranked up by buying an Ebony Wand for 4,000 gil in Jeuno and had enough points from yesterday's Rapid Bows to get my Carpenter's Apron from the guild. I'd been under the mistaken assumption that it cost 150k points instead of 100k, so I was relieved to get it.

I'd kinda planned on switching back to the Fisherman's Guild, but I think I may stick with the woodworkers awhile. I wouldn't mind having one of those nifty drawing boards (see the pic) for my moghouse. Unfortunately, I need 150k points and woodworking at 88 to get it. /sigh

Very Good Timing

Cmdrfly and Ghaleon were absent from today's ENM, but they gave us plenty of advance notice so we could get replacements. Neyla invited Crookedmidget along to tank for us. Wulfgar's Limbus linkshell dragged him away, so it was looking like we'd have to kill Pasuk with four people.

The

trolls had great timing, because they were set to arrive in Al Zahbi one hour before we do "Test Your Mite." Neyla and I went out there to help fight them off since we didn't have to worry about being late for the ENM. I don't know if everyone was hopped up on meth or something, but we managed to beat back a Lv. 8 troll army twenty minutes early.

Veresko had just logged on, so we teleported out and farmed a Florid Stone for him so he could join us on Monk. I'm getting addicted to the Chocobo Mazurka after zipping around the glacier so quickly.

"I feel like I'm in slow motion when I'm on another job," Neyla said.

I was White Mage again, but I didn't care because it was for limit points. We kicked Pasuk's ass and Veresko won the lot on the Geist Earring it dropped. I now have two merit points; three more and I can complete my Critical Hit upgrades.

Neyla and I finished up by doing the necropolis escort as a Beastmaster duo and had no problems. I ate the scroll on my Dragoon, which is 1k away from Lv. 39. I plan to flag up this week and try to level it again because I need a break from the stuff I've been doing lately.
