| My first glimpse of Dark Ixion was almost my last. |
burning off my Campaign Ops this morning, I stumbled across Dark Ixion in West Sarutabaruta [S]. I had just outposted and saw a bunch of people standing around. I assumed they were there for a Campaign battle, but then I saw they were fighting the unicorn. It almost killed me with an AoE attack, knocking me into the red and killing my wyvern instantly. I moved out of range and watched the battle while I rested to full, but his HP bar doesn't show damage while his horn is intact and I quickly grew bored. They were still fighting him when I'd burned off my last op, so I don't know if they killed him.
Speaking of death, Shiva managed to take me out during the avatar fights. We've fought her on Iceday with few problems, but she had an attitude this time and hit me for 1,242 damage. Owie. Neyla used Chainspell and nuked her into oblivion. The other fights against Titan and Ramuh were still very easy.
Other than that, it was a quiet day. I fished up two stacks of black sole in Port Jeuno while waiting for the escort to begin, but I didn't get any skillups.
