I break loose with Penta Thrust during a Campaign battle.

finally stumbled back into Vana'diel after another lengthy hiatus punctuated by short log-in periods to feed GreenBoy in the Windurst stables. I've been too distracted by Saint's Row 2 and Dead Space, with a healthy dose of Fallout 3.

But now that I'm back, I jumped into Campaign to do battles as Dragoon. Neyla tanked on Paladin, which gave me a chance to cast Dia so my wyvern could patch him up with repeated Healing Breath III while he took a beating. I managed to get to 66, which means I can cast Reraise on myself now... at least, I can if I cart around MP gear.

Other than those battles and chocobo maintenance, I've been taking stabs at the Harvest Festival event. An ahriman named Pyracmon flaps around outside the nations' gates, along with a swarm of Wraith Bats. Speaking to the event moogle drops you down to Lv. 1, and you have to kill the bats in order to build up enough magic to fight Pyracmon. Your actual weapons don't hurt the ahriman, but every bat killed adds 1 hp of Enlight to your attack.

The Eerie Cloak reward was kinda lame. I really wanted a Federation Stables Scarf, but never got it. I killed that thing five or six times and only got the items for San d'Oria and Bastok. Bah.
