Weak Sauce Goblin

Guild points kinda sucked today because I had to catch three stacks of Dark Bass. They're easy enough to target -- the little pond southeast of the crag in LaTheine Plateau is a good place for them -- but it takes awhile. Kerowynn was parked on the other side of the pond while I was there. I took a break when I finished.

my return, I jumped back into Campaign, mostly bouncing between Meriphataud Mountains and Jugner Forest to finish off my next promotion. Neyla eventually logged on and we teamed up. I finished off a second merit and got pretty close to a third before I finally quit.

We took a break from the Campaign battles to do the Delta Strike fight out in West Sarutabaruta [S]. I was MNK/WHM the last time I tried it and nearly got my ass handed to me. This time I went MNK/NIN and it was a very different experience. The poor goblin barely touched me! If I got interrupted too much, Neyla would toss out a Flash so I could get shadows back up.

Neyla is far ahead of me on Campaigns, and the only way I'll catch up to him is if he caps out. I have about 38,000 allied notes and he has 125,000. Still, I'll be happy if I get access to Street Sweeper III.

I'm a wicked, mean, lazy tarutaru for not posting lately. Thankfully, I don't have to go back and try to recreate all those missing days from assorted screenshots because there just hasn't been much to report because I was sick with a really bad cold last week. I partied a few times on Dragoon, but mostly I wanted to curl up in bed and huddle under the blankets. There were a few afternoons of Campaign battlings with Neyla. Combined with the escort, ENM and xp parties, I managed to ding 59 on Dragoon.

Campaign is about as adventurous as I've been.

I was sick all last week and have been recovering this week, with that nagging break-up of congestion where that I'm always coughing and feeling like I have a jellyfish living in my skull that really really really wants out and sends tendrils of phlegm searching for an exit at the worst moments. It's just as charming as it sounds.

I flagged up a few times this week and got two nibbles for parties. The first group was 5/6 on members, and I'd already paid for the Whitegate teleport when the leader sent me a /tell saying "Sorry, but the other party members say I have to invite a tank." The second fell apart when the leader asked my TNL (completely ignoring that it was already in my search comment) and then saying I was too low-level for them.

I've been working on fishing guild points and that's about it. I'm closing in on that sign for my moghouse. Hopefully I'll have it by next week.

The only truly productive thing I've done was helping Neyla farm a Garliage Citadel coffer key for Dalamar's artifact armor. We even bumped into Old Two-Wings while we were hunting the coffer, but of course he didn't drop anything.
