returned to Boyahda Tree awhile to get some sword skillups for Neyla since he was 9 under cap. The upstairs camps were taken by other skillup groups, so we dropped down a level and hit the sapling tunnel where we would hang out as Beastmaster.

A monk fighting a Korrigan is entertaining to watch, since we counter each other's moves and hit each other very quickly. There was an entertaining fight where Neyla ran back to camp with three mandies on his ass. I used Hundred Fists to dispatch one and then took out the other while he was keeping the third occupied.

We weren't there nearly as long as when he did Spirit Taker, so we had time to take in a few Campaign battles. I finished off a third merit and used them to raise my Counter Rate to Lv. 3.

I like the look of the Temple Cyclas.

wasn't in much of a gaming mood yesterday, but I logged on long enough to travel to Port Jeuno and acquire my newly-upgraded Temple Cyclas +1. I'd planned to do a Campaign battle or two and try it out, but I couldn't quite bring myself to do it.

Neyla was running around Cape Terrigan with Dalamar when I logged on, helping the taru get some sword skillups. I toyed with joining them, but decided to log out instead.

I was in a better mood for it today. Neyla and I did a bunch of Campaign battles and I was satisfied with the Chakra boost I got from the new body piece. I tried leaving it on full-time to see how much of a difference the evasion from the Scorpion Harness was making, but it was difficult to determine. The actual damage from each hit was slightly reduced, but I was probably getting hit more often without the Evasion +10. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since I get more limit points from Campaign battles if I heal myself a lot.

I also finally remembered to get an evaluation and ranked up to the Wings of Integrity, the highest level you can achieve in Campaign right now.
